Prerequisites
Corporate Social Responsibility
We will only partner with organisations who share our philosophies and who encourage good practice to be passed down the supply chain. We are committed to embedding CSR values across all our processes, policies, activities and ways of working.
Modern slavery
Rotork recognises our responsibilities as a global engineering group to ensure that slavery and human trafficking does not occur in any part of our business or supply chain. We closely monitor and review our supply chain to ensure modern slavery responsibilities are met, according to all current legislation.
Conflict minerals
Rotork does not use the group of conflict minerals known as 3TG. Suppliers must provide conflict minerals information, identify that their materials are DRC conflict-free and identify the smelters they use.
RoHS/REACH
Rotork complies with the Restriction of Hazardous Materials (RoHS) and Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) legislation and requires our suppliers to do the same. Suppliers must provide Rotork with the declarations and supporting information that we need to fulfil obligations to our end users. We will regularly review this to ensure our suppliers meet these requirements.
GDPR
Rotork complies with all European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) laws and expect our European suppliers to do the same when processing data on our behalf. We also conform to data regulation laws in relation to the data in our supply chain.
Code of conduct and core values
Our suppliers must adhere to the core values and expectations contained within our code of conduct policy and require their own supply chain to adhere to them too. Our core values include;
- Treat others with trust, dignity and respect and without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, disability or age
- Operate a zero tolerance policy to extortion, bribery and corruption
- Declare any conflicts of interest
- Reduce health and safety risks associated with your business to a level as low as reasonably practicable
- Ensure you are not complicit in any human rights abuses
- Uphold freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining
- Never use child, compulsory or forced labour or any other form of slavery or servitude and work diligently to ensure that your supply chain does not use such practices
- Comply with, all applicable environmental laws, regulations and codes of practice
