Rotork is a joint sponsor for forthcoming FDT® technology training seminars to be held by the FDT Group on Tuesday, 11 December 2012 in Cork, Ireland and on Thursday 13 December 2012 in Manchester, United Kingdom.
The seminars will focus on the underlying terminology and technology of the FDT standard (IEC 62453) and showcase its value for commissioning, operating, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining networked process and factory automation applications. The events feature keynote presentations by industry experts as well as live interoperability demonstrations by the sponsoring companies. A wide variety of process and factory automation applications deployed on various automation networks will be showcased in the live demonstration area. Rotork’s demonstration will include its market leading IQ3 and CVA electric actuators for isolating, regulating and modulating control valves.
Engineers, instrument technicians, maintenance technicians, and network specialists wishing to learn more about the underlying technology, operation, benefits, and availability of FDT enabled DCS, PLC, and asset management systems are encouraged to attend. The seminars are offered at no charge but advanced registration is requested. The events will begin at 9:30 and will conclude by 17:00. A complimentary lunch will be served. Immediately following the seminar, attendees are invited to attend a visit of the Jameson’s distillery in Middleton or the Manchester United Stadium.
