Rotork riding high again in Britain’s Most Admired Companies Awards

Pictured here, Rotork Chief Executive Peter France receives a Britain’s Most Admired Companies Award from Lord Heseltine and Matthew Gwyther, editor of Management Today magazine.

At this year’s annual awards ceremony, which took place on Tuesday 2nd December at Claridges Hotel in London, Rotork once again topped the Engineering & Machinery category and finished 7th in the overall category. Other highlights included 2nd places in the Quality of Goods & Services and Use of Corporate Assets categories.

Organised by Management Today magazine, the awards are based on the results of the Britain's Most Admired Companies survey, conducted by Professor Mike Brown and his team at Birmingham City University. Using responses from board level representatives, as well as analysts and City commentators, the survey is a peer review of corporate reputation. Companies across 26 sectors marked each other out of ten across nine different criteria. These range from the firm's ability to innovate and the quality of its marketing to its financial performance and the strength of its management team.

Peter France, commented: “Winning the engineering sector once again recognises the exceptional contribution and dedication of the Rotork staff and being placed in the top 10 most admired companies is a wonderful achievement.“
